An illegal taxi driver in China's Sichuan province hit a police officer and sped around the city with him hanging on to the bonnet for 5km (3.1miles).
The police had tried to stop the driver for a routine inspection, but Ma Jian, who already had 10 previous violations and was operating an illegal taxi, refused to permit the inspection and sped away from the police.
The police said the car reached speeds of up to 150kph (94 mph). He was finally stopped and the officer, Huang Teng, fell unconscious.
